I charge non-refundable session fee at time of booking. If you are unable to make your session for any reason, if I am given notice - we will reschedule for the next available convenient date that works for both of us. No shows (with no notice) will have to pay session fee again to re-book. If weather is a factor for outdoor sessions, we will change to the next available and convenient date.
I do not put a time limit on any session. If you want to spend lots of time, go to different locations, do wardrobe changes, give kids a break and let them play, etc….i’m all in for that. I really want to take the time to get the kinds of photos that you will enjoy forever.
Once booked (inquiries are not added to my calendar, dates are not saved until session fee is paid), we will choose a date that works for us. Newborns are booked in the same manner, however instead of putting the actual date of session - I just reserve time around your due date. Once baby is born, you contact me as soon is convenient and we decide the actual date that will work for you.

You will receive an online gallery to choose which images you would like edited. Simply "heart" the ones you love and let me know when you have finished making your final decisions. You can also purchase the entire UNEDITED gallery (I will remove my watermark and send you the download PIN). I would ask that decisions for edits be made within 2 weeks (unless otherwise arranged) so that I can delete the RAW files from my hard drive in a timely manner (takes up a lot of space and can not be kept indefinitely). I do keep a smaller version JPEG indefinitely so if you decide at a later date you would like all the unedited files, by all means let me know. :)
I will ask you after the session is over if you would like a sneak peek on my photography page. I will never post without prior consent. Editing is done in order of clients choosing their pics. Payments for edits is due at this time (before I do any work on them).
I have a pricing guide for different sessions. This is the fee to cover the cost of session only. Digital files are sold separately. All the unedited files from the session may also be purchased.
I also offer HD video slideshow options with or without video clips from your session, so please ask about that if it interests you. I can show you some samples before your session starts if you are unsure and would like to see what they look like.

***** Please note that I am following current COVID protocols. To keep your family safe as well as mine, I am limiting my indoor studio session to 2 people (plus newborn) to allow for social distancing in my small space. For a newborn session that would mean parents & baby only. For a cake smash session; only 1 parent and child. I do offer other alternatives if more people are desired at your session such as outdoor sessions / or at your home sessions.

ATTENTION:
For the safety of everyone be sure to disclose if you:
- Have been in contact with someone confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19.
- Have someone from your house hold return from travelling abroad.
- Have any of the following: fever or chills, new cough or increase in the amount of coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath, headache or unusual headache, sore muscles not related to overexertion or exercise.
Your session will need to be cancelled immediately and rescheduled when safe to do so, and same will apply to photographer.
Efforts that will be taken to minimize all risk:
- House cleaned / sanitized and disinfected.
- 24 hrs minimum between indoor sessions of different clients
- Covid notices / info will be posted at front door & bathroom.
- Everyone will wash hands upon arrival and throughout session as necessary.
- Door open for fresh air during session.
- Air purifier turned on in session area.
- ONLY PARENT HANDLES / POSES BABY -photographer only directs clients
- Social distancing rules will be enforced.
- Photographer will wear a mask for the duration of the session.
- Minimal props / blankets will be used for session and set aside for cleaning after use.
- Client bathroom will be sanitized for client and only client will use during session.
- Client will bring their own water, coffee, snacks etc.
- Sanitizing station will be set up for clients use (wipes, paper towel, Kleenex, hand sanitizer)
- Online galleries will be provided for clients to choose their edits.
- E-transfer or Credit Card over the phone for payments.

Payment methods that I accept are: MasterCard, Visa, Cheque, or e-transfer (paulakeechphotography@telus.net). An extra 3% charge will be added to credit card transactions as that is what I am charged to offer the service. GST is not included in the pricing and will be added to your total.
